History

Embedtek was started in 2003 by Kent Tabor. Brunswick invested in the Company to have Embedtek lead their development of next generation communication, navigation and entertainment technology in high-end watercraft. Embedtek successfully introduced industry leading technology into Brunswick and later, Kent Tabor, purchased Brunswick's interests to regain full control.

In later 2009, Dan Aicher and Ted Platz invested in Embedtek and joined the management team.
