Our Sabot line of Embedded Computers are primarily small form factor systems with standard and customer specific I/O cards and/or custom PCBs. They ship incorporated into equipment and are usually protected from heat, shock, vibration and other forces to ensure reliable operation.
Medical Audio Encoder
This rugged, small form factor PC provides a professional-quality solution for multiple recording/playback situations. It accepts several different IP and analog video inputs as well as XLR audio with phantom power.
Intel® Core™ i3 processor with different audio/visual options for flexible image grabbing and encoding. Base configuration uses COTS components and accepts four IP video (power over Ethernet) inputs plus a fifth input (analog or digital). Balanced XLR audio includes on-board phantom power. Space for two hard drives.

Hybrid Video Recorder
This set-top video recorder combines high performance and a very small footprint. COTS components ensure that components will be available for a long time. Developed for a customer to complement their line of video editing appliances.
Two independent video inputs (DVI shown in picture above). Also available, VGA and HDMI as options. Audio input is via “line in” to the system board. Storage includes a single 500GB hard drive. Other storage capacity and technology options are available including Solid State Drive (SSD).

These systems often support high-performance GPUs or other customer-specific add-in cards; for that reason, they often incorporate additional mechanical supports and are packaged in a small, reliable form factor.
