Hartland, WI. – At 4pm on Wednesday, October 8, Wisconsin computer maker EmbedTek and Interstate Partners will break ground on a new, 100,000 square foot manufacturing facility at N7 W23700 Bluemound Road, near the Waukesha Airport.
The company outgrew the Hartland, WI, space in which they started in 2003. The advanced new facility, designed for cell-based manufacturing, features computerized work instructions, a clean room, and a large engineering space for design and validation.
In recognition of the team effort shown by EmbedTek employees, the first shovelful of dirt for the new building will be scooped by an EmbedTek employee. “Our growth is a direct result of their hard work and passion for excellence,” explained Tom Fotsch, Chief Operating Officer. “This Groundbreaking is a celebration for all of us.”
In the last three years, EmbedTek sales grew 1,322%, and the company was recognized by Inc. Magazine, the Waukesha County Business Association, and the Milwaukee Manufacturers and Commerce group.
Embedtek designs and manufactures single-purpose computers and digital displays for original equipment manufacturers. That means EmbedTek systems are found in products made by other companies including medical devices, fitness equipment, military training simulators and webcasting systems.
