Hartland, WI. – The Wisconsin Society of Professional Engineers honored Hartland computer manufacturer EmbedTek with a Governor’s New Product Award. EmbedTek Founder and Chief Technology Officer Kent Tabor received the award from Wisconsin Lieutenant Governor Rebecca Kleefisch at the WSPE Banquet in Green Bay, Wisconsin, on May 27, 2015.
EmbedTek received the award for their product Sabot 0525, an Embedded PC which is used in military training systems. In the award program, EmbedTek was cited for Innovative Use of Engineering Principles, Improved Function and Savings.
EmbedTek designs and manufactures single-purpose computers and digital displays for original equipment manufacturers. EmbedTek products are found in a range of other devices, from fitness equipment and medical devices to surveillance systems and training simulators.
The WSPE is Wisconsin’s organization for professional engineers in several categories, including Electrical Engineers, Mechanical Engineers and Civil Engineers. For over three decades, the WSPE GPNA competition has recognized Wisconsin’s leading manufacturers who have contributed to the State’s economic growth through the development, manufacturing and marketing of new and innovative products.
